i have a list on a “sticky note” of bands to check out/cds to purchase. it’s been sitting there for awhile. it grows and shortens at times but it is never completely gone. i think that makes me happy. that there are so many bands out there i need to check out and so many bands out there worth listening to. i haven’t even begun to scratch the surface.

i had such a fun weekend visiting with family in Oregon and it kind of got ruined the minute i got home. i was so frustrated, all i wanted to do was write about it here and feel better because it’s all out in the open. but when i got to the house i am housesitting, they had taped The Princess Diaries so i put it on and all is well again with the world :)

is it just me or is every movie with people in their late teens/20’s all about getting laid? i love Michael Cera and Youth In Revolt looked really funny but it was all about him trying to get laid. of course it had it’s funny parts because it’s michael cera, zack galifinakis and steve buscemi but overall, i wasn’t too impressed. i’m just sick and tired of every movie...
